Authentic Ancient Roman/Byzantine Bronze Sun Worship Ring.  Decorated bezel with Sun Wheel in centre.  Circa 5th - 6th century AD.

Sturdy and wearable.

This ring and item ref. 2575 were found together.  They were latterly acquired from dealer from part of country what was once Panonia once. But formerly they are from wider Sirmium region, and they are metal detectors find. By style, they are not believed to be earlier in Roman times, maybe around 500 AD, when that area felt under barbaric tribes. After that, under Justinian I area is again under East roman empire, so rings could be from late 6th to 7th c. AD. Or early Serbian, 8th -9th c., when there was strong influence and coherence of Byzantine.

Professionally cleaned to almost their original lustre for you to wear as in antiquity.
